Shabbat in the Sukkah
The first night of Sukkot falls on Shabbat this year, so the season opens with a full Shabbat and Yom Tov dinner in the sukkah: kiddush, challah, courses, and the sky showing through the roof the whole way.
Festive Lunch in the Sukkah
Straight after morning services: a fish and salad buffet, then hot cholent and a deli spread. No rush to leave.
Dinner Under the Stars
A four-course dinner in the sukkah, with the night sky through the schach. Reserved together with Shabbat in the Sukkah, on the same form.
Bagels & Lox
A bagel and lox spread in the sukkah after morning services. Shake the lulav on your way in.
Festive Holiday Lunch
The second day’s holiday lunch. Sit down, relax and enjoy a festive meal in the sukkah with friends and community.
Mahjong in the Sukkah
Never played? Come learn. Ari Klein, one of our students, teaches beginners and gets everyone into a game. Already play? Grab a seat.
Subs in the Sukkah
A community sukkah party for all ages. Sub sandwich supper with salad and soup, sukkah crafts for the kids, and a lulav to shake.
Paint Night
Open to all. A guided paint night in the sukkah with artist Chana Leah, visiting from New York, with food and drinks while you work. No experience needed, and you leave with your own painting. Spots are limited, so RSVP.
S’mores in the Sukkah
A fire, marshmallows and a late night in the sukkah.
Homecoming Shabbat
Homecoming weekend, students and alumni together, for one big farewell dinner in the sukkah.
Services and candle lighting, the Sukkah on the Quad, the sukkah mobiles and Simchat Torah are all on the full schedule.
