December, 2011

2012 Annual Campaign Kickoff!

REACHING GREATER HEIGHTS TOGETHER!

A Year of Growth. A Year of Passion. A Year of Education.
A Year of a Promising Jewish Future.

To Our Dear Friend,

· Did you know that we now host an average of 110 students for Shabbat dinner every Friday night?

·  Did you know over 65 people study with Chabad on a weekly basis?

· Did you know that Chabad reaches out to the entire East Central Illinois, reaching out on a weekly basis to communities, prisons, hospitals and army bases throughout the entire state?

Well one thing we know for sure ...we couldn't have done it without our dear partners!

Every single one of our partners have helped us inspire over one thousand two hundred people with the personal warmth of Judaism, making 2011 a year of unprecedented growth and pride!

THANK YOU!

My dear friend, I am writing to ask TODAY for your pledge of support for our Campaign of 2012 with a fundraising goal of $406,000. In these critical financial times, we need YOUR help more than ever as we continue to expand and grow!

We do not receive any funding from Chabad headquarters. 100% of our funding comes from Parents, Alumni and Friends, people just like you, who value and appreciate the work which we do at Illinois!

We are excited to once again announce very Good News:
You now have an opportunity to double your gift to Chabad

We have been blessed to receive a matching pledge of $18,000 towards our year-end campaign. Every donation of $250.00 or more will be matched dollar for dollar! This kind pledge has been offered by a few  generous donors [a parent ('15, 13') an alum of ('08 and '09), a parent of a past student a local communitty member]. However there is a condition: It is for the month of December only!

So a gift of $250is $500, a gift of $500 is $1000, a gift of $1500 is $3000! Your gift can be spread out over the year if needed.

Would you consider a gift towards our vital work? Please scroll down to donate online on our secure webpage. Any amount is deeply appreciated.

The hearts and minds of the future Jewish leaders are in our hands. Let us act today, ensuring that thriving Jewish life can be provided for the students and the community at Illinois and the entire East Central Illinois in the upcoming year!

May your generosity generate divine blessing for a prosperous, healthy, and illuminated year, materially and spiritually.

With much appreciation,

Rabbi Dovid Tiechtel
Executive Director
