Your safety and well being is our number one priority! In accordance with CDC, UofI and local guidelines and with the guidance of the Chabad Reopening Parents Committee, we are implementing the following approach to help mitigate risk of COVID-19 spread and exposure. We are excited to be offering our many programs and the home away from home Chabad provides for our programs and we need YOU to embrace these changes so we adhere to the highest standards of safety and health.

1. Social Distancing

All Shabbat Dinners, Passover meals and events where food is served will be held outdoors in the Grand Deck at the Campus for Jewish Life and Living.

2. Mask Wearing

All students, participants, guests and Chabad staff members are required to wear face masks while in the building and outdoors, besides for when actually eating or drinking.

3. Hygiene

All participants, students and guests will be asked to confirm their health and sanitize hands upon entering Chabad. All food will be served by staff. All contact surfaces will be disinfected regularly.

4. Limited Attendance

In accordance with healthy guidelines, all events will be limited to 50 people. To accommodate everyone for Shabbat dinners, RSVP will be mandatory. We will also have Shabbat to go.

5. RSVP Required for all events

In an effort to keep social distancing and in order to enable contact tracing, an RSVP system is now set up and all participants must RSVP for any events at Chabad.
